imageDo you remember Watergate? Thirty-five years ago this Sunday, U.S. President Richard M. Nixon submitted his letter of resignation for his role in the scandal. There was the crime – the break-in, and then there was the cover-up by the Nixon administration. There were threats, media manipulation and disinformation. It was the cover-up more than the crime itself in the aftermath of the Watergate break-in that led to the downfall of the Nixon administration. It was a politically critical time for our country, but we survived because of the strength of the U.S. constitution.

Now, we potentially face a new constitutional crisis stemming from the refusal of Barack Hussein Obama to produce a one-page document that would confirm his eligibility to hold the highest office in the land. Eligibility to hold office is not a “fringe” matter, but a core constitutional issue that lies at the very heart of a growing controversy.

Although we do not have the birth certificate or proof of ineligibility, the Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press have documentation of a cover-up relating to the issue of Obama’s eligibility to hold office. The proof we possess not only exposes a well orchestrated cover-up, but also provides critical insight into why the topic of Obama’s eligibility has failed to gain traction in the corporate media.

The Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press are in possession of extremely sensitive investigative documents, including a stunning written admission by a nationally known talk show host stating that he was threatened with his career – or worse – should he talk about the issue of Barack Hussein Obama’s birth records to a national audience. This document was obtained on December 10, 2008, and provides explicit detail of a “gag order” imposed on this host before and immediately following the national election last November.

After receiving and authenticating the document, US based veteran private investigator Douglas J. Hagmann opened a full scale investigation into the media blackout, with specific emphasis on tracing the blackout origins to those issuing them. This investigation was conducted in conjunction with Judi McLeod, founding editor of Canada Free Press and Brian Thompson, CFP Information Technology chief following a meeting near Toronto, Ontario last December. At that meeting, it was decided to keep the existence of the document secret until additional evidence could be obtained.

Today, after an extensive eight month investigation, the Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press are breaking their silence and revealing explosive information about a widespread cover-up that began at the earliest stages of the Obama presidential campaign. The cover-up traces back to some of the most powerful and influential people in the U.S. and continues today.

Summary of the Evidence

As noted above, we are in possession of a written account by a well known national talk show host who details how he was prohibited to discuss the controversy of Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility as president of the United States. This signed document cites exact dates and times when he was forbidden to discuss any aspect of the birth certificate controversy, and includes direct references to the individuals responsible for such prohibitions. Further, his statement identifies the individuals who originated the orders and their positions, and confirms that failure to adhere to the order would likely end his career in that industry. He also confirms that other, less specific but more menacing threats were implied during conversations with those making the subject off limits.

image

Although we possess the original document containing the name and contact information of the talk show host, we have decided not to publish his name or network affiliation at this time. Based on the correspondence from this individual and respecting the nature of the threats to him personally and professionally, it is our decision to allow him to enjoy anonymity until such time as he decides to reveal the facts himself at a time of his choosing.

From multiple interviews conducted within the last eight months, we have obtained information from other sources, independent of the above, who have also been instructed to avoid any discussion of the birth certificate issue at all costs, to wit:

The account of an administrative assistant employed in New York City by a cable network news station who provided significant, detailed information of a 2008 meeting between the top network executive and four-(4) well-known news anchors. This source confirmed that she drafted the memo to the various hosts to notify them of the date, time and location of this high-level meeting at the request of the network’s top executive.

Present at this meeting, she verified that the network official issued “warnings” to the personalities “to avoid any on-air discussion of the birth place, eligibility, and news accounts of litigation compelling [Barack Hussein] Obama to produce a legitimate copy of his birth certificate.” She stated that the network executive had her arrange the conference immediately following a meeting “between [the network executive] and an attorney closely associated with candidate Obama who was acting on his behalf.”

The statement of a corporate secretary for a major news network confirming the existence of a one-page inter-office memo, bearing the markings “confidential” and “not for dissemination,” addressed and distributed to news anchors and on-air talent” that specifically instructed the recipients to avoid any discussion pertaining to the Obama birth certificate controversy. The memo was written and distributed in October 2008, and specifically instructed on-air talent to “advise guests, as necessary, to refrain from citing any news story, legal proceedings, Internet ‘blogs’ or other sources that pertain to the ongoing eligibility controversy of future President Barack Obama.”

As outlined above, our Investigation has uncovered both direct and indirect evidence of threats being made against some of the nation’s top radio and television personalities, which would explain some giving this topic mere lip service. As one source interviewed during the course of this investigation stated, “I’ve got a career and family to think about.”

Although no one should be surprised over the manipulation of the news, the nature of this manipulation, and the extent of the threats against journalists, should shock even the most well grounded.

Any reasonable person must question the motivation of the media moguls. The individuals who have – and continue to threaten talk show hosts, news anchors, and others are the top people. We are not talking about mid or upper level management – this is from the very top in all cases. If there is nothing to the birth certificate issue and the question of eligibility, why the secrecy?

Fred Thompson: Interviews Betsy McCaughey

Health Care BIll
UNBELIEVABLE!!~~~
Page 425 of Health Care Bill -
Listen to this interview Fred Thompson’s Radio Show
interviewing Betsy McCaughey (pronounced Mc Coy).

On page 425 it says in black and white that EVERYONE on Social Security,
(will include all Senior Citizens and SSI people) will go to MANDATORY counseling
every 5 years to learn and to choose from ways to end your suffering (and your life).
Health care will be denied based on age.  500 Billion will be cut from Seniors healthcare.
The only way for that to happen is to drastically cut health care, the oldest and the sickest
will be cut first. Paying for your own care will not be an option.
You have to go blind in one eye before you can be treated?

N Korea Responsible for Cyber Attacks on US

APTOPIX South Korea Cyber Attack
By HYUNG-JIN KIM, Associated Press Writer Hyung-jin Kim, Associated Press Writer – Sat Jul 11, 9:03 am ET

SEOUL, South Korea – A North Korean army lab of hackers was ordered to “destroy” South Korean communications networks — evidence the isolated regime was behind cyberattacks that paralyzed South Korean and American Web sites — news reports said Saturday, citing an intelligence briefing.

Members of the parliamentary intelligence committee have said in recent days that the National Intelligence Service has also pointed to a North Korean boast last month that it was “fully ready for any form of high-tech war.”

The spy agency told lawmakers Friday that a research institute affiliated with the North’s Ministry of People’s Armed Forces received an order to “destroy the South Korean puppet communications networks in an instant,” the mass-circulation JoongAng Ilbo newspaper reported.

The paper, citing unidentified members of parliament’s intelligence committee, said the institute, known as Lab 110, specializes in hacking and spreading malicious programs.

The Ministry of People’s Armed Forces is the secretive nation’s defense ministry.

The NIS — South Korea’s main spy agency — said it couldn’t confirm the report. Calls to several key intelligence committee members went unanswered Saturday.

The agency, however, issued a statement late Saturday saying it has “various evidence” of North Korean involvement, though has yet to reach a conclusion.

South Korea’s Yonhap news agency carried a similar report, saying the NIS obtained a North Korean document issuing the June 7 order. The report, quoting an unidentified senior ruling party official, said the North Korean institute is affiliated with the North Korean People’s Army.

The state-run Korea Communications Commission said Friday that it had identified and blocked five Internet Protocol, or IP, addresses in five countries used to distribute computer viruses that caused the wave of Web site outages, which began in the U.S. on July 4.

The addresses point to the computers that distributed the virus that triggered so-called denial of service attacks in which floods of computers try to connect to a single site at the same time, overwhelming the server.

They were in Austria, Georgia, Germany, South Korea and the U.S., a commission official said. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the media on the record.

Speculation over who was responsible for the attacks that targeted high-profile Web sites, including those of the White House and South Korea’s presidential Blue House, has centered on North Korea.

And though such finger-pointing has been trickling out since the attacks began, the identity of the IP addresses themselves provides little in the way of clarity.

That’s because it is likely the hackers, whoever they are, used the addresses to disguise themselves — for instance, by accessing the computers from a remote location. IP addresses can also be faked or masked, hiding their true location.

South Korean media reported in May that North Korea was running an Internet warfare unit that tries to hack into American and South Korean military networks to gather confidential information and disrupt service. The Chosun Ilbo newspaper reported Friday that the North has between 500-1,000 hacking specialists.

The fact that some of the attacked sites — such as the ruling party and the office of President Lee Myung-bak — have links to the South Korean government’s hard-line policies toward the North was cited as further reason why Pyongyang might attack them.

The North has drawn repeated international rebuke in recent months for threats and actions seen as provocative by the international community. Those include a nuclear test in May and short-range ballistic missile launches on July 4.

North Korea has not responded to the allegations of its involvement in the Web site outages.

The assaults appear to be on the wane. No new similar cyberattacks have been reported in South Korea since Friday evening, according to the state-run Korea Information Security Agency.

Ashamed to carry the American Flag on Memorial Day?

I ran across this post on another blog.

American Flags

Remember last 4th of July, the Tattler wondered why the Ypsilanti High School Marching band didn’t have a U.S. or State of Michigan Flag at the front of the band. Dang it if once again Ypsilanti High, Lincoln High and East Middle School did not have a U.S. flag. Are they ashamed to carry a U.S. Flag in the Memorial Day Parade? This is the third time these schools have refused to carry a U.S. Flag in the parade. Ypsilanti’s West Middle School was the only band to have a U.S. Flag. Good for them, the Tatt will be sending over a donation to help support the band and music program. Several years ago, an Ypsilanti Attorney bought the Ypsilanti High School band a U.S. Flag and then Michigan Senator Alma Wheeler Smith donated a State of Michigan Flag as well. The High School carried the flags in one parade and then they disappeared. We are remembering our veterans and military on Memorial Day. The least the schools could do is carry a flag in the parade. It is time for Tattlers to take action and let’s make sure that all of the bands have U.S. Flags for the 4th of July Parade. Hey if the Tatt was Oprah, we could get 1,000’s of callers, but we can make a difference with just two.

Here is who you can call. Lincoln High School Principal Derrick Coleman (734)-484-7060 dcoleman@gw.lincoln.k12.mi.us

Ypsilanti High School Principal Jonathan Brown (734) 714-1002 brown@ypsd.org

East Middle School Principal Candice Churchwell (734) 714-1400 churchwe@ypsd.org Ypsilanti School

Superintendent Jim Hawkins (734) 714-1218 hawkins@ypsd.org

Director of Public Relations Emma Jackson (734) 714-1202 ejackson@ypsd.org

And please call Principal Monica Merritt (734) 714-1300 mmerrit2@ypsd.org at West Middle School to thank her and the entire band for proudly carrying a U.S. Flag in this years Memorial Day Parade.

FREE KITTENS

Little Mary Pat had a box of very small kittens that she was trying to give away, so she had them out on the street corner with a sign “FREE KITTENS” next to them.

Suddenly a big line of big black cars came up with a policeman on a motorcycle in front.

The cars all stopped and a tall man stepped out from the biggest car.  It’s President Obama.

“Hi, little girl, what do you have there in the box?” he asked.

“Kittens” Little Mary Pat says.  “They’re so small, their eyes are not even open yet.”

“What kind of kittens are they?” he asked.

“Democrats” says Little Mary Pat.

The tall man smiled, returned to his car and they drove away.  Sensing a good photo opportunity, Pres..

Obama called his Public Relations manager and told him about the little girl and the kittens.

It was planned that they would return the next day, have all the media there and tell everyone about these great kittens.

The next day, Little Mary Pat is standing out on the corner with her box of kittens with the “FREE KITTENS” sign and the big motorcade of black cars pulled up with all the vans and trucks from ABC, NBC, CBS, BET and CNN but no FOX for some reason..

Everyone had their cameras ready and then, Pres.  Obama got out of his limo and walked up to Little Mary Pat.

“Now, don’t be frightened,” he said, “I just want you to tell all these nice news people just what kind of kittens you’re giving away today.”

“Yes sir,” Mary Pat said, “They are all REPULICAN kittens”  Taken by surprise, Pres.  Obama said, “But yesterday, you told me that they were DEMOCRATS.”

Little Mary Pat says,

“Yes, I know.

But today, they have their eyes open.”

Cyber War Against America has begun

Officials: N. Korea believed behind cyber attacks

SEOUL, South Korea – South Korean intelligence officials believe North Korea or pro-Pyongyang forces committed cyber attacks that paralyzed major South Korean and U.S. government Web sites, aides to two lawmakers said Wednesday. The sites of 11 South Korean organizations, including the presidential Blue House and the Defense Ministry, went down or had access problems since late Tuesday, according to the state-run Korea Information Security Agency. Agency spokeswoman Ahn Jeong-eun said 11 U.S. sites suffered similar problems. She said the agency is investigating the case with police and prosecutors. In the U.S., the Treasury Department, Secret Service, Federal Trade Commission and Transportation Department Web sites were all down at varying points over the July 4 holiday weekend and into this week, according to American officials inside and outside the government. Others familiar with the U.S. outage, which is called a denial of service attack, said that the fact that the government Web sites were still being affected three days after it began signaled an unusually lengthy and sophisticated attack. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the matter. The Korea Information Security Agency also attributed the attacks to denial of service. Yang Moo-jin, a professor at Seoul’s University of North Korean Studies, said he doubts whether the impoverished North has the capability to knock down the Web sites. But Hong Hyun-ik, an analyst at the Sejong Institute think tank, said the attack could have been done by either North Korea or China, saying he “heard North Korea has been working hard to hack into” South Korean networks. On Wednesday, the National Intelligence Service told a group of South Korean lawmakers it believes that North Korea or North Korean sympathizers “were behind” the attacks, according to an aide to one of lawmakers who was briefed on the information. An aide to another lawmaker who was briefed also said the NIS suspects North Korea or its followers were responsible. The aides spoke on condition of anonymity and refused to allow the names of the lawmakers they work for to be published, citing the classified nature of the information. Both aides said the information was delivered in writing to lawmakers who serve on the National Assembly’s intelligence committee. The National Intelligence Service — South Korea’s main spy agency — declined to confirm the information. South Korea’s Yonhap news agency said military intelligence officers were looking at the possibility that the attack may have been committed by North Korean hackers and pro-North Korea forces in South Korea. South Korea’s Defense Ministry said it could not confirm the report. Earlier Wednesday, the NIS said in a statement that 12,000 computers in South Korea and 8,000 computers overseas had been infected and used for the cyber attack. The agency said it believed the attack was “thoroughly” prepared and committed by hackers “at the level of a certain organization or state.” It said it was cooperating with the American investigators to examine the case. South Korean media reported in May that North Korea was running a cyber warfare unit that tries to hack into U.S. and South Korean military networks to gather confidential information and disrupt service. An initial investigation in South Korea found that many personal computers were infected with a virus program ordering them to visit major official Web sites in South Korea and the U.S. at the same time, Korean information agency official Shin Hwa-su said. There has been no immediate reports of similar cyber attack in other Asian countries. Yonhap said that prosecutors have found some of the cyber attacks on the South Korean sites were accessed from overseas. Yonhap, citing an unnamed prosecution official, said the cyber attack used a method common to Chinese hackers. Prosecutors were not immediately available for comment. Shin, the Information Security Agency official, said the initial probe had not yet uncovered evidence about where the cyber outages originated. Police also said they had not discovered where the outages originated. Police officer Jeong Seok-hwa said that could take several days. Some of the South Korean sites remained unstable or inaccessible Wednesday. The site of the presidential Blue House could be accessed, but those for the Defense Ministry, the ruling Grand National Party and the National Assembly could not. Ahn said there were no immediate reports of financial damage or leaking of confidential national information. The alleged attacks appeared aimed only at paralyzing Web sites, she said. South Korea’s Defense Ministry and Blue House said that there has been no leak of any documents.

Israel free to strike nuclear sites: Biden Give Green Light

Israel free to strike nuclear sites: Biden

Anne Davies and Jason Koutsoukis

July 6, 2009

60139

The US Vice-President, Joe Biden, says America will not stand in the way of an Israeli strike against Iranian nuclear facilities.

Mr Biden’s comments seem to contradict the most senior US military commander, Admiral Mike Mullen, who warned against “unintended consequences of a strike like that”.

Responding to questions on the American ABC TV’s This Week, Mr Biden said three times that Israel was free to do what it needed to do.

“If the Netanyahu Government decides to take a course of action different than the one being pursued now, that is their sovereign right to do that. That is not our choice,” Mr Biden said.

Israeli officials have welcomed the comments, reading them as a sign the US is preparing a “plan B” in the event its dialogue with Iran fails to rein in the country’s uranium enrichment program.

Officials in Jerusalem said they were not surprised by Mr Biden’s latest comments. They said the Obama Administration had not given the green light to an Israeli attack against Iran, but it was not withholding approval either.

“There are secret understandings between Israel and the Obama Administration as to the options that Israel has regarding Iran,” said one political source quoted by the newspaper Israel Today.

The head of Iran’s parliamentary committee on national security and foreign policy, Alaeddin Broujerdi, said Iran was ready to take “real and decisive”‘ action if Israel attacked its nuclear facilities.

“Both the US and Israel are aware of the consequence of an erroneous decision,” he said.

In May the US President, Barack Obama, told the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that he expected to know by the end of the year whether Iran was making “a good-faith effort to resolve differences” in ending its nuclear program, signalling that his willingness to engage in diplomacy had limits.

Israel reportedly gave serious thought to a pre-emptive strike against Iran’s Natanz nuclear complex last year but was told by the former president George Bush that the US would not support such a move.

Israel Today reported sources in Mr Netanyahu’s office as saying “the fact that Biden is talking about Israel’s right to attack Iran, and at the same time fewer statements are being made on settlements, shows that Netanyahu is succeeding, slowly and determinedly, in persuading the Americans of the justice of his government’s policy”.

The liberal daily Haaretz reported that Israel believed the US was considering more punitive action against Iran, such as tighter sanctions, but still wanted to give dialogue a chance.

Mr Biden’s comments seemed at odds with those of Admiral Mullen, the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman, who seemed to warn against an Israeli strike on Iran in appearances on CBS TV’s Face The Nation and Fox News Sunday.

“I worry about it being very destabilising not just in and of itself but the unintended consequences of a strike like that,” Admiral Mullen told CBS.

“At the same time I’m one that thinks Iran should not have nuclear weapons. I think that’s very destabilising.”

A White House spokesman, Tommy Vietor, said Mr Biden was not signalling any change of approach on Iran or Israel.

“Our friends and allies, including Israel, know that the President believes that now is the time to explore direct diplomatic options.”

Mr Biden also said the US offer to negotiate with Tehran still stood, despite the crackdown following the presidential election.

Iran ‘Ready to Respond’ to Israeli Attack

by Yehudah Lev Kay

(IsraelNN.com) Iranian parliamentary official Alaeddin Broujerdi said Monday that his country is ready to take “real and decisive” action in response to an Israeli attack on its nuclear facilities. He spoke out while attending a summit in Tokyo.

“Both the U.S. and Israel are aware of the consequences of an erroneous decision,” Broujerdi said. “I believe our response will be real and decisive.”

The Iranian’s comments came a day after U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said his country would not stand in Israel’s way if it decided to attack. “We cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do,” he said.

Recent reports of preparations for a pre-emptive stike in Iran have come in the wake of growing doubts that the Obama administration’s diplomatic arm-twisiting and economic sanctions can convince Iran not to enrich uranium and use it for a nuclear weapon.

John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, wrote in the Washington Post last week that America’s attempts are doomed to failure and that an Israeli strike on Iran is the only hope to stop Tehran from becoming a nuclear threat to the entire Western world.

Concerning Iran’s internal affairs, Iran’s Broujerdi defended his country’s crackdown on protestors over the contested Iranian presidential election results, saying the police acted to maintain order. “There is no confusion,” he said. “It is now a totally peaceful situation in Iran.”
